Smart Works have announced the launch of their Diversity Internship Scheme. This is a ten-week paid internship starting in January at their London HQ with the aim to ‘offer people from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to see what a career in the charity sector is like’. Smart Works are inviting applications from candidates who are from one or more of the following backgrounds:

  • You have lived experience of the challenge posed by female unemployment. This can be either first-hand experience or experience through a family member or other close relation.

  • You are from a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) background.

  • You consider yourself to have a disability.

“We are looking to recruit interns who love what we do and are passionate about empowering women. We are offering them an opportunity to see what a career in the charity sector is like and the chance to gain hands-on experience across all areas of Smart Works. This internship is part of our commitment to make Smart Works a truly inclusive and diverse community, and we can’t wait to introduce our new team members to you in the new year.”

Apply now through the application pack here.
